Dr. Renwei (Richard) Li is a Chair Professor at Southeast University, China. From 2007 to 2024, he was Chief Scientist and SVP at Futurewei Technologies, following roles at Cisco and Ericsson. A prominent leader in the field, he chaired ITU-T FG Network 2030 and ETSI ISG NGP, and has led 30+ international conferences. He received the 2023 IEEE MMTC Outstanding Researcher Award, holds 65 US patents, and has published over 120 papers. His research currently focuses on 5G/6G, Industrial Networks, AI, and future network architectures.
